Recent Projects

Tyn Rhos farmhouse has been in the same family for many many years and it was time for the next generation to move in and carry on the work on the family farm.

They approached us wanting to renovate it to make it modern but keep the character and make an “old house new”, adding a small extension, to make the house practical for a young family to make new memories in.

The original house was gutted to bare walls but leaving the existing roof as it was replaced previously and still in good condition. We opened the ground floor up to make it a more open space and adding underfloor heating throughout the ground floor with extra insulation. Then new pipework, electrics, staircase, kitchen and bathroom.

The owners wanted advice and guidance on this project as they wanted to keep within a reasonable budget but also whilst doing the work – they wanted everything done to a high standard – we are only doing it once, was said on many occasion.

It was nice to do a local project for people we consider to be family friends/neighbours and we are so glad that they have been able to make it their own.
