Founded in 2015, M L Evans (Darowen) Ltd is an award winning family run company ran by husband and wife team, Meilyr and Lowri Evans. Meilyr is a qualified carpenter on paper but has over 15 years of experience in all building trades gained by working with his late father, Mike Evans Darowen.

Meilyr has worked on both commercial and domestic work, both large and small. Lowri is behind the scenes in the company, with qualifications and experience in business management and accounting.

M L Evans (Darowen) Ltd are also lucky to have skilled, experienced employees and subcontractors but are always looking for more people to join the team as the company continues to grow.

Based in Mid Wales, we work directly with clients, architects or interior designers to offer a complete range of services from full renovation, new builds, barn conversions, extensions, new kitchens, bathrooms – any sort of domestic and commercial construction work.

Our aim is to provide clients with knowledge, advice and to complete the work to a very high standard within budget.

In 2020, on completion of one of our barn renovations, Nant Barns, we were nominated by the building control for the North Wales LABC building excellence awards. We are very pleased to say that we won the category of best conversion/change of use in recognition for our high standards of construction and workmanship.
